33cl Bottle from AH. Serious contestant for most redundant release of the year here. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of a cheap strong lager with a hint of grain, swamp, and bread. Flavour is light-sweet, tiny hint of malts, slightest hint of flowers, cheap strong lager finish. Light-bodied, watery. Even more tasteless than its older brother, although thatβs usually a plus. A waste of good hops, if any are used at all here.

Bottled, BB 05-03-2014, large sample. Label says Cascade and Columbus hops. Pours a clear yellow color, medium frothy white head. Aroma of grainy pilsener malt and slight sulphury yeast. There seems to be a hint of flowery hop, but nothing that reminds of Cascade or Columbus hops. Flavor is a bit more bitter than the regular pils and the bitterness is slightly more citrussy than usual. But itβs all marginal to say the least. Donβt expect a lot to be different from the regular Grolsch.
