Voor de nazomer hebben we dit keer de White IPA gebrouwen, een smakelijke kruising tussen een witbier en een IPA. De tarwemout zorgt voor een frisse smaak met een licht zuurtje, aangevuld door een volle bitterheid van de Chinook hop en een stevige dryhop met Amarillo en een klein beetje Chinook. Voor wat extra frisheid zijn er ook nog een paar limoenen en wat gedroogde sinaasappelschil in de White IPA gegaan. Een lekker smaakbommetje dus om heerlijk mee de nazomer in te gaan.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy yellow brew with an dry bitter taste that have some nice citrus fruits as hints. Quite great Dutch Wheat Ale from Amsterdam.

Bottled. Golden colour with a small foamy white head, which disappears quite fast. Aroma is tropical fruits, citrus and some mild bready and biscuity tones. Flavour is grapefruits, citrus, some mild tropical fruits with mild biscuity tones too.

Bottle. Blonde, hazy. Citrus, lychee and peach in the aroma. Firm grassy hopbitter flavor with abundant spicy notes. Tropical fruit pushed away to the background. Questionable balance, but a nice beer.

Hazy amber beer, big white head. Palate is airy and crisp. Minerals. Spicy Belgian yeast! Light touches of pear and mango. Airy malt underneath. Light dry crisp finish. Not bad.

Bottle 330ml. [ As ’t IJ White I.P.A. ].Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, citrus, grass, moderate yeasty, leather. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, farmyard, leather, bitter, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 33cl bottle. Bb 06/14. Unclear dark golden, thick frothy white head. Aroma is perfumy, citrusy tart with some lavendel notes. This is one refreshing beer. Wheat, perfume, citrus fruits. Spices coming through towards finish more stronger. Dry bitter fruity finish. Very tasty. Not really noticing neither Amarillo or Cascade here, I am guessing the spices overrides them quite fully. Solid stuff.

Vestjysk Vinter Vanvid januar 2014. Cloudy yellow with a lasting white head. Malty aroma of bread, with some yeast and some citrus. Dry and hoppy flavour with some spicy notes
