Petrus Aged Pale is a 100% foeder beer, aged for 24 months in our oak foeders. It has been the reference for sour beers for years. Moreover, ever since the establishment of the brewery, this beer has been used to blend with other beers to give them fresh, slightly sour flavours and aromas.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear golden pour, almost no head. Pleasant nose, not as sour as expected. Well balanced. Slight apple vinegar, subtle citrus hops, some candy-like notes. Liquory. Medium body, high carbonation. Light and fizzy on the palate. Taste is sour. Unlike the nose, sourness really hits hard in the taste. However, it's not overwhelming, really nicely balanced and quite tasty. Aroma of apple vinegar, citrus, herbal liquor. Some woody notes. Sugar. Candy. Sticky mouthfeel. Some bitterness towards the finish. Lasting subtle alcohol burn. Overall, quite tasty. Different and interesting beer to try but definitely not for everyone.

Bottle from Hopology. Hazy rich golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma is fruity berries and winey. Taste fruity and light sour. Medium to full body.

Aroma: Fruity sour with berries and slight dust. Flavour: Fruity sour with notes of apple and sour berries. Aftertaste is fruity sour and dry bitter. Colour: yellow with a white head.

Draught at Beers 2017, small creamy head, clear quite deep yellow color, aroma of sweat, sour bread, vanila and spice, flavor of sour fruit, wood, yeastiness and mustard, mellow empathic medium sourness, very light sweetness. Nicely balanced. Very nice and highly enjoyable.

Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is acetic, with wine vinegar, bretty wood and and tart fruity notes of rhubarb. Lingering tart finish. Refreshing, balanced and quaffable.

Butelka. Barwa zólto-zlota, klarowne. Piana srednioobfita, bardzo nietrwala. W aromacie biale wytrawne wino oraz poziomka i kwasna wisnia. W smaku bardzo wytrawne z dosc kwasnym finiszem. Brak goryczki. Wysycenie intensywne bardzo przypominajace szampana. Doceniam ten styl, ale chyba do mnie nie za bardzo przemawia... Wole piwo od wina ;)
