Petrus Aged Pale is a 100% foeder beer, aged for 24 months in our oak foeders. It has been the reference for sour beers for years. Moreover, ever since the establishment of the brewery, this beer has been used to blend with other beers to give them fresh, slightly sour flavours and aromas.

Bottle from Lidl, drunk at home. Light yellow with a small amount of visible carbonation and no head to speak of. Aroma of white wine, overripe grapefruit, noticeable funk. Tart taste with a very refreshing and well-carbonated body. Passionfruit and pear drops in the aftertaste. I really like this.

Clear golden, white head. Aroma is citric, light funk, acetone and hay. Good, sour citrus and acetone flavour. Dry and crisp.

Bottle 0.33l. Lightly cloudy, gold colored. AROMA- very pleasant, vinous, fermented must of sweet white grapes. FLAVOR- pleasantly sour, not dry, grapes, wine, light tones of apricot. Medium to fuller bodied.

Barwa złota, klarowne, piana obfita, wysoka, dość szybko opada, ze skromnym lacingiem. W aromacie kiszonka, kwaśność z kwasu mlekowego, białe wino, winogrona, sfermentowane jabłka, nuty octowe, nieco nut chlebowych. W smaku półwytrawne, umiarkowanie kwaśne, sporo estrów, owoców, winogron, białego wina, kiszonki. Wysycenie średniowysokie, nieco musujące, lekka cierpkość na finiszu, świetna pijalność, w ogóle nie czuć, że ma aż 7,3% alkoholu, znakomicie gasi pragnienie. Bardzo fajny kwasek, sporo się dzieje, warte spróbowania.

Bottle from Trader Joes. Clear yellow color and a thin head on top. Some yeast and in the aroma. Moderate soir flavor. Some wine, vinegar, and acidic fruit. Very good.

Pours clear gold into a tulip. White head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Funky lemon and lactose aromas. Soft with sweet hay and with lactic citrus front to back. Lasting bitter oak and pith finish.
