Bottle shared. Pours hazy yellow with a small off white head. Aroma of lemon, tart grapes, earth, light herbs. Flavour is light acidic, light sweet, chemical and artificial. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

12 ounce bottle into signature pint glass, bottled on 4/2/2013. Pours lightly hazy golden straw color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with decent retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Slight spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of tart apple, lemon, grape, pear, wheat, hay, grass, pepper, funk, light vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of yeast and light malt notes; with decent strength. Taste of tart apple, lemon, grape, pear, hay, grass, wheat, funk, light pepper, light vinegar, and yeast earthiness. Light fruity/earthy tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of light fruits, hay, grass, wheat, light pepper, light funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice and pleasant balance and complexity of flavors; with a very dry finish and no cloying flavors as expected. Medium carbonation and light bodied; with a very dry and crisp mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present as expected of 4%. Overall this is a very solid Berliner weisse style. Nice balance and complexity of flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. An enjoyable offering.

Draft at Churchkey. Poured a light, cloudy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was light citrus notes, some pepper notes. Aroma was tart, light crisp lemon notes, pepper, light grains. Flavor was light pepper notes, wheat. Low alcohol makes it easy to drink, and the tartness that this had really gave it a nice dimension.

Bottle, 12oz. A hazy, pale golden beer with a finger-thick white head. The aroma is rather sourish, balsamic vinegar, lemon and some milky hints. Sour mash. It’s thin and dry on the palate, slighlty effervescent. Lemon, sour malts and a generic fruityness and some bitter notes in the flavor. After a while a faint spiced hint occur as well. Lightly palate cleansing and lemony in the end. Well, not my preferred sour wheat beer, the sourness is a bit strange, and it’s quite boring, but also refreshing. 130819

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, cirtus sourness and hint of balsamic vinegar. Taste is light sweet and light sour. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Clear gold - spritzy carbonation - lightly lactic nose, with bright lemony notes, light briny notes, mild mineral and a gentle wheat sweetness - there is a mild sour mash tartness on the approach, but other than that, there is not much in the way of tartness or acidity - probably the least tart berliner I have had - more like a straight up wheat ale, as a mellow wheat sweetness and a moderate mineral bite settle in on the palateblate - this is not a complaint, as overall, this is a clean and enjoyable session wheat ale with a quenching tartness to it - enjoyable beer.
