Brace yourself. Denogginizer is a massive Double IPA that’s sublimely hopped with an over-the-top dosing of dank, sticky, West Coast hops. With just enough malt backbone to keep the big, bold, resinous hop monster in check, be careful, you might lose your head to the Denogginizer.

Bottle @ Vinens Verden, Odense. Pours cloudy orange with a small creamy white head and lacings. Caramel, pine and grapefruit. Fine balance. The malts are there - but the hops are fresh and powerfull. Really tasty and well made. Smooth and full bodied.

Bottle. This is the kind of DIPA I like. It’s very hoppy without getting too bitter. Everything is in perfect balance. Fruit, caramel malt. The bitterness comes through after a while - without disturbing all the sweet things.

Sample at the Sour Village / CCB Tasting on 05/20/2011. The beer pours a clear reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Rings of lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, malt and fruit. Medium body with flavors of hops, bready malt and sweet fruit. The finish is hoppy up front with a sweet caramel aftertaste. Above average overall.

Grapefruit peel and tangerine nose, with mustard accents. Dingy orange-brown, medium yellow head, what can best be described as floodwater or sewage treatment overflow. Milkshake-like glass coating. Full bodied and somewhat viscous. Whole orange and mango. More of a grapefruit peel type finish. Sweet and prominent malt presence does a lot to damper the resinousness of the hops. This beer is big. Big hops, big malt. Decent complexity, good balance, attitude. NIce job!

sweet malty grapefruity. Full bodied. Fun. Not too bitter. Good, but a bit too sweet for my liking.

Bottle at a tasting. Thanks Dagan. Clear deep golden with a white head. Piney aroma. Flavor starts with some thick malty sweetness and finishes very bitter. Medium-bodied.

Bottle from a trade with Chickencoop. Pours clear copper color with cream colored head. Citrus aroma with some caramel. Sweet caramel flavor with some citrus and a little heat from the alcohol. Somewhat syrupy and boozy. Medium body with average carbonaton. Thanks Jeremy.

Bottle shared by Joe "Kan is a beautiful man" Muck, thanks a lot! Poured a clear amber with a gray head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of pine with a bit of floral and citrus and a cereal backing. Flavor had a nice transformation from pine to light fruit, citrus and cereal finish.
