Aroma has lots of sweetish cocoa powder and some chocolate. Flavour has cocoa and some chocolate. Alcohol in the finish. Palate has some stinging alcohol. Reminds me of Slottskällans Imperial Stout with all that cocoa.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Pitch black with a dense, ceramy brown lasting head. Roasted malt aroma, chocolate, vanilla, some coffee and licorice. Similar flavours. Nice bitterness in the dry finish. Very smooth and well crafted.

Bottled. Pours a thick creamy black liquid, with a short brown head. Aroma is intense malty, bready, chocolat, mocha, slight fruity notes. Very rich, no sharp edges though. Thick bready taste, chocolat, soft sweetness. Very creamy texture, I love that in an impy. Only slight bitterness, and a soft alcohol burn. Not even that complex, but so rich and creamy, that I’m truly enjoying it. Wonderful stuff.

75 cl. bottle sampled @ Delirium Hoppy Loft: A: the usual black with a tiny mocha head / S: smell is however not standard, lots of delicious soy sauce, amazing plus some dark fruits & dark malts as well / T: unfortunately way less soy sauce, sweet dark fruits & dark fruits blended with just a touch of soy sauce and chocolate, definite spices & viscous aftertaste / B: medium body & carb. for style / ok imperial stout

Pours pitch black with a nice smooth and sticky beige head. Aroma has notes of vanilla beans, chocolate and roasted malts. Taste is quite smooth and silky with notes of roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla and licorice. Finish is quite dry, bitter and roasty. Nice, well balanced and tasty imperial stout.

Re-rate only on figures since the description is not inaccurate imo but u just live it even more now. Bottle @ home June 26th 2015. -- Bottle thanks to Dutchdrebus at ‘Zieke Zuiden Tasting II’. Pitch black, opaque colored beer with a creamy, light brown long lasting head. Smell liquorice, slightly coffee, dark chocolate and roastyness. Taste roastyness, dark chocolate, dark malts. Very nice beer. Great mouthfeel, good carbonation, medium to full body. [Original score: 8-4-8-5-16=4.1]

Rich chocolate syrup aroma, espresso undertones. Coal black, medium beige head. Smooth mouthfeel, somewhat creamy. Dark chocolate flavor with roasty bark and grass notes. French roast coffee finish. Alcohol well concealed. Not the most complex imperial stout, but rich and full flavored without being thick and syrupy. Outstanding, non-fruity. My kind of impy.

A perfect imperial stout. A dark oily appearance with a dark creamy head. A lot of flavour with the roasted taste of chocolate and coffee and a hobby after taste. A well rounded beer, but slightly to much taste of alcohol.

Bottle @ Home. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, milk chocolate, raisins, cold coffee. Taste is roasted malt, light coffee, chocolate, dark dried fruit, licorice. Medium body, soft carbonation, rather dry finish. Good, but lacks abit of body to be excellent. 300911
