330ml bottle shared with friends at a New Year’s party. Hazy golden body. Remaining snow white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Mid-sweet fruit and pale malty nose. Moments of sweet apples, orange and grain to the taste buds. Mid-sweet fruity end. Satisfying with our salty and smoked meat (Tromsø, 31.12.2016).

From bottle on board Fridtjofen 08.10.16. Unclear pale orange. Persistent and dense white head and lacing. Moderate aroma and taste, with some pale malt, hops and tropical fruits. Balanced and quite refreshing. Moderate bitterness.

33cl bottle from Cunningham - thanks! Slightly hazy golden with a modest, white head. Malty and mild fruity aroma with notes of overripe apples and some slightly earthy notes. Moderate to medium sweet with mild flavours and a rather light bitterness. Not too pleasant, but drinkable.

Bottle 330ml @ home
Pours hazy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, floral, yeast, grass and hint of citrus. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long yeasty, malty and grassy finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A small off-white head forms over a hazy golden body. Some lacing. The aroma is quite weak, with grapefruit, orange zest and some peach. Grassy hints too. It’s medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Orange zest, some pine cones, grapefruit and peach in the flavor, quite bitter, with little malty flavors or sweetness. Rather short finish, that I’d prefer more bitter. Nothing extraordinary going on here, but it’s an honest beer that I wouldn’t shy away from repeating. Pity the finish is so short. 160917

Hazed golden color with a thin white layer on top. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Like an average pilsner. Medium body and an average carbonation. Mellow ok sweetness and an ok bitterness. Mellow nice malty, mild fruity and herbal flavor. A really balanced, nice and refreshing ale!

330 ml bottle, from the brewery. ABV is 4.7%. Hazy golden colour, large white head. Very moderate but not unpleasant aroma, hints of malts and fruity hops. Fairly fresh and pleasant dry flavour, some fruity hops, also decent malts, some bittering hops in the finish. The best pale beer I’ve had from Voss Fellesbryggeri’s own produce so far.
