Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Aroma of cooked veg, with a sour edge. Light chestnut. Thin bubbly head. Light bitter, develops sweetness. Spicy notes, alongside hoppy grapefruit. But all pretty muted. Light bodied. Watery. Slick residue. Long dry finish. Decent enough but uneventful.

Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Golden amber with a tight cream head; fruity malt aroma; sweet malty taste with an immediate strong resinous bitterness; then some tart fruit and bitter caramel to finish. Well balanced.
