Bottle. It’s a hazy light amber colored beer with a small, beige head. The aroma is lightly bready, with some toffee and a citrusy, piney hoppyness. Flower notes too. Doesn’t feel as fresh as it is. It has a decent bitterness, but as in the aroma, the malts are too prominant. Toffee, bread and some yeast notes, with citrusy, lightly flowery hops. It’s full to medium bodied, smoothly carbonated and semi-dry, with a lasting bitter, citrusy and piney finish. Some yeast and a good dash of bread too. Well, it’s an honest try, but it’s not a beer I’ll repeat. 170330

Bottle. Unclear dark golden body with a decent off-white head. Aroma is light caramel malt with some grapefruit, pine and quite much yeast. Flavor is medium sweet malt, some caramel, mild citric fruit, pine and lots of grassy hoppy bitterness. Medium body and mostly bitter aftertaste with yeast. This one is brewed 24. January and tasted 24. February but it actually feels old already, I miss some fresher fruit and liveliness, it feels a bit ripe and the bitterness feels a bit harsh and much more than 65 IBU. Too unbalanced and also too much yeast flavor.

0.33l bottle from #0145. This one pours a more or less clear looking deep golden, AR copper colored body with a ice big fluffy eggshell colored head on the top. Lots and lots of lacings down the sides of the glass here. It smells really piney and hoppy this. Grapefruit peel and a rush of pine cones. It also malt sweet and a little marmalade bitter. Really nice to smell at and it tastes quite good also. Smoothly balanced between the piney, the fruity and the malty. It has a nice oily texture in the mouth and it's just about average on the carbonation. Piney and caramelly. Lots of flavor here, lingering hoppy bitter and a long present hoppy burp. Nice. 18.03.2017

330ml bottle, #0145, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Firm pearl white head remaining over a cloudy apricot coloured body. Crocheted lacing. Herbal hops, citrus and peaches to the nose. Succulent orange flavours alongside peaches and pine, moderate malty sweetness beneath. Bitter hop fruity finish. Well bodied. Smooth with fine drinkability (Tromsø 11.03.2017).
