Bottle from King William IV. Reddish orange/golden body with a moderate sized tan head. Nice aroma of citric fruit and caramel malt. Flavour has smooth malt, some caramel, fresh citric fruit and decent bitterness. Fine body with a good and bitter aftertaste. Well-made and really refreshing. Another fine beer from Brodies.

Tap at Ales and Tails, Twickenham, 12/01/13. Obscured dark amber with reddish hues and a thin off white head. Nose is hops, pine, sugars, tropical fruit notes. Taste is a big hop hit, caramel, pine, grapefruit, a little sugar, grass. Medium bodied, a little over spritzy in the carbonation, bitter dry in the finish. Lovely stuff !

On tap. Pours a hazy dark amber with a creamy yellowish/beige head. Very, very fresh citrusy hops in the nose atop some burned caramel. Medium-bodied, fairly sweet caramel, some biscuit accents and then again plenty of good and citrusy hops. An excellent hopped up Amber Ale. 111112

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines drank at home; fabulous beer if I didn’t know any better I would have thought they were an American brewer, the hops they squeeze into this 330ml bottle. I will definitely have again because I have another bottle in the house. Food accompaniment: pie mash and liquor

Tap @ Mikkeller Bar. Dark amber brown appearance with a tan head. Mild caramel, somewhat toasty, piney/herbal hoppy flavor. Pretty nice caramel malty, a bit burnt, piney hoppy flavor. One of the better ones that I tried from Brodies at Mikkeller this evening.
