Tap at Orlando Hilton. Wonderful roast and chocolate aroma. Black with minimal brown head. Flavor is chocolate with a bit of a weird powerdered cocoa on the back half. A bit of cola as it warmed. I like this more than the score...but the powdery chocolate at the death knows it back a couple of points.

12 oz. can. Pours opaque black with a tall, tan head that lasts forever. Aromas of brown sugar, dry oats, caramel, and coffee. Taste is mildly sweet with flavors of coffee and unsweetened chocolate. There are hints of vanilla too. It is light-bodied with a slick texture. Carbonation is average and the finish is a bit bitter and short lived.
Overall, it is what you would expect from an oatmeal stout. Although, for a stout, the body is a bit thin.

Sampled on February 23, 2017. Can 355 ml from Total Wine & More, Clearwater, FL. Purchased on January 29.BB 11/10/16Huge hizz when opened, creeps bubbly out of the opening, builds up a massive bubbly head when poured.Clear dark reddish brown color, huge tan to light brown head. Grainy, mineral, mild roasted scent. Light acidic, some apples, grainy, fruity, mild roasted taste. Roasted, some chocolate aftertaste. Also a mild rubber phenolic scent with a shampoo sort of fruity feeling to it. Medium a bit fizzy mouthfeel, fairly low bitterness.

Draft pout at 3D. Pours a dark brown color with a marble fizz head. Creamy, doughy, milk chocolate aroma. Vanilla, raw dough sweet cream, maple. A bit doughy and sweet for me, but good qualities here.

Really almost a dry stout more than a sweet stout. Nose hints at tobacco and cocoa, and roasted malt. Flavors are roasty mostly, mild cocoa, dry finish with light tannins from the black malts. Some tannins in the nose too. Vague spiciness like licorice or soy sauce lingers around the edges. Its OK.

Can from Publix. Dark brown with ruby at the edges. Small tan head. Aroma of darkly roasted malts, almost smoky Some light cocoa and coffee in there. The flavor is a bit of roast maalt bitterness balanced by some sweetness. A bit of dryness tries to come in at the finish. a bit thin.
