0.5 l bottle from ’De Bierkoning’, best before June 2016. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, tan to white head. Sweetish-malty, faint grassy-hoppy aroma of hay, sweet bread and some citrus with hints of caramel and yeast. Sweetish-malty taste of hay, caramel, nuts and some bread, followed by a medium long, slightly to medium bitter, sweetish-grassy finish. Thin to medium body, very smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Superbly drinkable, well-balanced and absolutely round. Very decent stuff!

Bottle shared outside the brewery on day 2 of the Bamberg Jolly of January 2014. Pours perfectly clear, rich gold with a bubbly white head. Lovely beer, with good bready character, light grassy and herbal bitterness, crunchy cereal, even some hints of citrus. Light bodied with average carbonation. Very crisp on the finish, with more pleasant bread, cereal. Excellent lager. Just completely drinkable and enjoyable.
