Bottle. Amber color. Yeast, soft oily hops and tropical fruit in the shy aroma. Tropical fruit and alcohol in the flavor. Is it really a DIPA. I’d call it a fruity sweetish Belgian strong ale with a modest hop character.

amber, helder met schuimige witte kraag aroma: moutig, zoet, gist, graan, volmoutig, citrus, rood fruit, grapefruit ipa aroma’s dus smaken: medium zoet, matig bitter, donker fruit, koriander, sinasappel, kruidig. medium body, afdronk kruidig en zoet ipa aroma : ja ipa smaken: nee maar best wel drinkbaar

Amber colour, diminishing white head. Sweet, malty aroma, sweetish floral hops touches. Sweet, tart (weeig), sticky flavour, honey, light bitter. Light cloying sweet finish, light bitter and honey notes.
Amusing, not your typical dipa.

Bottle shared at Arendsnest. Clear golden amber pour with a medium off white head. Aroma of fruit, yeast and alcohol. Flavour of citrus, fruit, same sweetness and alcohol. Bottle 330ml.Clear medium amber orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to heavy yeasty - hoppy, spicy, crispy hops, fruity yeast - hops, anis, candy sweet. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long to average duration, spicy hops, yeasty fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120331]

33cl bottle thanks to Dutchdrebus. Hazy orange to amber color, medium sized white head. Smell malts, some sweetness, slightly hints of fruitpeel-sourness. Taste malts, some sourness hints and also some hints of fruity-sour-bitterness. Medium carbo and body. 33 cl bottle (from De Bierkoning @ home. Vertical tasting with the 7.5% (X) version. Clear amber color, slightly darker than X.Head is off white, less dens than X, but also with long retention and good lacing. Aroma’s of sweet & sour fruit, lemonny, herbal, alcoholic. Flavor is light bitter and ever so slightly sour. Alcohol feel is definitely stronger than X. Finishes dry, but only slightly bitter.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy opaque deep golden with an off-white head. Hoppy aroma alright, but not a fresh and crisp citrusy hoppiness. Solid body, sweet caramel and fruit with a herbal hoppiness leaving an aggressive bitterness. But at least not overly yeasty. Not the most refined DIPA. 010412
