Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a murky orange-tan color with a large foamy off-white head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was bitter, tangy and piney. The flavor was sour and bitter with notes of pine, cactus, grapefruit, pineapple, guava and table sugar. There was a slightly off undertone. Long finish. Full bodied. Ok

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow gold with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is tropical fruit and dank hop. Medium mouth, juicy hop, pine, dank, melon, resin finish, very good.

Quite cloudy, thick head. Assertive hop nose is going papaya and melon, and grapefruit. On the palate the catty nature of the citra shows through, along with a pronounced yeastiness that obfuscates the malts a bit too much. Some good elements but this needs to be cleaner to really showcase those nice citra notes.

On draft at brewery. Billed as an IIPA at 8% ABV. Hazy orange Amber with a small beige head. Floral hop nose with citrusy notes. Taste is bittersweet malt with obvious citrus hops. Notes of sweet grapefruit and tangerine. Not overly hopped like most IIPA’s tend to be. Rather smooth and drinkable. Residual sweet maltiness throughout. Some grapefruit bitterness in finish.
