The Dunkel is the original lager brewed in Munich. The word Dunkel in German means dark, and this dark lager makes almost exclusive use of Munich malt which lends to its color and toasty characters. Our version is slightly nutty and surprisingly light and crisp!

Backlog fall 2015. Light blueberry nose. Pale brown, offwhite head. Light nutty, medium light body, not chewy enough. Not quite there.

Draught at the brewery on October 15, 2015.Clear brown color, teal head. Fruity, malty, cream taste. Fruity aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Malty, fruity scent.
