On tap at Redoak Boutique Beer Cafe, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light honey and cereal malt. Flavour is lightly sweet, with honey upfront and dry cereal malt. Decent for what it is.

Pours slightly hazy golden/amber (actually, it does look a bit like honey). Small head instantly fades to nothing... Enticing aroma of woody honey and grainy malt. Not so pleasant is the corn/cooked vegies, reminds of cheap adjunct lagers. Much more honey present on tasting, as well as sweet malt and a slight citrus tang, but again, cooked vegies come through. Quite lively, but watery, on the palate. Pretty good, as long as you don’t pay too much attention to it.

Hazy. Very pale. Quick bubbles. Flowery bouquet but also a little gamey. Sweet flavour with a cool/crisp honey snap alongside light melon and flower accents. Slightly yeasty but otherwise fairly refreshing finish. Not a bad honey brew.

Bottle. No head. Clear straw colour. Strong aroma and foretaste of leatherwood honey. Bitterness appears in the finish. The strong leatherwood and the bitterness sort of balance. I find leatherwood too intense though. It is a unique and interesting honey ale though.
