On nitro tap at King Street Brewhouse, pours a red tinged black with a medium creamy head. Aroma is a bit smoky, with peat and some dry cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with a prominent smokiness upfront, and a dry toasty finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Not terribly robust, but it's decent.

Draught at the brewpub in Sydney as part of a tasting paddle, on October 9, 2015.Light hazy dark brown to black color, dark brown head. Malty, mineral, fruity taste. Roasted, ash aftertaste. Medium light mouthfeel, dry bitterness that feels to the harsh side, medium high in level. Malty, roasted scent.

Strong coffee nose. Totally Black with cream-yellow head. Tastes like it smells, strong coffee. Beautiful mouthfeel, slightly bitter aftertaste. A joy to drink. This brew pub has commercial beers on tap. Why? When I ordered this the guy next to me ordered 2 Corona’s. Tourist area, that’s why. Be brave, drink this.
