Brewed with grapefruit and a mysterious hop code named “Experimental Grapefruit”, this IPA is a serious citrus bomb. Lively and bright, bracingly bitter, and eminently refreshing, you’ll wish it grew on trees!

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy hops, light butter and toasted malt. Flavour is quite grainy and bitter, with earthy hops, bitter toasted grains and light butter. Somewhat sweet, but that's attenuated quickly by the harsh bitterness. I guess it's okay for gluten free, but this is nothing I want to drink.

12 oz can. Aroma is grapefruit, cantaloupe, chalky candy. Pours hazy orange with a bone-white head that falls into a ring somewhat quick. Taste is highly bitter and a bit savory with flavors of the aroma, along with some kind of a weird grain. It’s drinkable, but I wouldn’t want another.

On tap at Beer junction junction seattle. Pours out a crisp golden topped with a white head. Nose is candy grapefruit citrus a little sweetness. Taste is crisp grapefruit citrus plenty of pithy bitterness.

Can from Malt & Vine. Surprisingly to me the can says Gluten free. Fingers xd. Pours golden copper with a transient whitish head. Aroma of grapefruit. Med body or so. Flavor is citrus, not getting malt, and there’s definitely grapefruit rind. Bitter finish. There’s a certain "odd" flavor component that’s not very strong - but it’s not really troublesome - so IMHO Ghostfish is making some pretty palatable gluten free beers.

Bitter aftertaste. Medium low mouthfeel, high bitterness. Hoppy, citrus scent.7/3/6/2/12=3.0Rating IPA 2:Hazy amber color, white head. Hoppy, citrus taste. Citrus aftertaste.
