Handpull cask at the Dog & Doublet, Wolverhampton. Light gold, clear, a small bit of head encircling the glass. Sticks to the edges creating quite a bit of lacing. Fresh grainy lemony aroma with an unwelcome note of butterscotch... nice overall if flawed. Sweet taste with a bitter edge which fades over the course of the sip. There’s quite a bit of elderflower cordial in the taste, but overall it’s a fairly basic (if above average) golden beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Pelican, Gloucester, 5/6/2015. Golden in colour, with a decent, white, head. Some citrus fruit upfront, followed by subtle elderflower notes, biscuity malts and a moderately bitter finish. Pleasant

Pours light, thin foam, super pale and looks watery. Aroma is nice, bit of citrus, light and lemony. Taste is also very subtle, easy and drinkable. You should drink this by pints and pints.

Cask (Bridge Tavern, Newcastle) - Golden in colour. Elderflower, lemon and biscuity malt in the aroma. Elderflower and biscuity malt are in the taste. Not bad, but I love beers elderflower in it and I was hoping for a bit more from this one.
