Tap @ Jolly Roger Taproom. #2000. Light cloudy, yellow orange appearance with a pearl white head. Mild, herbal hoppy, light pale wheat malty nose. A little mild earthy hoppy, light pale wheat malty, slightly citrusy, and a touch sour flavor. Pretty decent wheat ale.

Draught @ Jolly Roger Taproom, Seattle. Pours a hazy yellow color with a longlasting white head. Has a wheat malty aroma with some weak hints of banana and hops. Wheat malty citrus flavor with banana hints. Sweetish wheat malty finish with a slightly bitter aftertaste.

On tap @ the brewpub. Pours opaque hazy gold with straw highlights and bright white head. Classic look with some sheet lacing to boot. The aroma is mild with grain malts, a hint of wheat and a vague hoppiness. The taste is non-wheat maltiness up front with hints of grainy malts and faint wheat. The wheatiness does grow to go along with notes of ripe banana and a hint of bubble gum as the finish approaches. I also get a hop bite tingling away in the background. Pretty nice hefe.

On Tap at Maritime Pacific Seattle. Pours out a cloudy straw color topped with a fluffy white head. A very nice wheat aroma. A little light malt on it not bad.

On Tap at the Jolly Roger. Hazy pale yellow with a thin creamy whiye head. Soft wheat and light malt aroma. This is fairly americanized as the German yeast character is very subtle. Modest carbonation and a crisp palate. Decent for what it is with my onion rings.

Light fruity nose. Faintly fruit malt palate with decent body for the style. I also had it at the Archer

Some banana, good malt accent. This was a regular at Archer's Ale House in Bellingham and I always wondered why...until I tasted it.
