A bright copper coloured pale ale with a toasty malt base balanced with west coast hops. Its light to medium body and clean, dry finish gives this full-flavoured ale dangerously inviting drinkability.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a small, creamy, long lasting, beige head that laces. Sweet aroma of toasted caramel malt, nuts and red apple. Sweet flavour of toasted caramel malt, biscuit, red apple, brown sugar, nuts and earth in a dry, mild bitter, floral hop finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Malt-forward, not what I was expecting. Nothing Pale about this, more of an ESB.

Heavy carbonation in a darker gold body and minimal head. Malty aroma that seems cheap, no complexity. Flavour is malty hazelnut with a dry hoppy finish. Nothing to see here, move along.

Ok session ale on the lighter side of pale ales. Tastes more like an English style pale. Pours dark brown, along me think this isn’t very pale at all. Nice head and lacing. Some malt and minimal hops presence. Finishes a little sour. On tap at The Beagle.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear copper / amber with a small beige head. Aroma of dry earthy hops, and dry English malts. Flavour is very dry, with earthy hops, subtle English malts, with a slight astringency on the finish. Highly drinkable with a good balance of flavour. Good stuff.
