Our West Coast style pale ale showcases the tropical juiciness of the Citra hop. Aromas of mango and passionfruit lead into flavours of sweet citrus, with a subtle malt finish. A tribute to one of our favourite hops, this amber coloured beer is as flavourful as it is sessionable.

473ml can. (5.0% ABV) Pours a cloudy orange-amber with a medium, creamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of orange peel, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, passionfruit and caramel malt. Sweet fruity flavour of biscuit malt, caramel, orange peel, grapefruit flesh, pineapple, mango and grass with a dry, mild bitter, hop resin finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Easy drinking and flavourful for a single-hopped brew.

Nice antique white head, strong carbonation, light copper body. Good dry malted grapefruit on the nose, grain and more citrus, balanced. Muddy flavour though, some malts and not enough hops and the finish isn’t crisp enough. Plainly okay.

On tap at St. Augustine’s. Pours a clear amber. Aroma and taste are very pleasant: sweet, tropical fruits, citrusy (oranges). Very good beer.
