On June 20, 2015. At Off the Rail Brewing, in Vancouver, British Columbia.A bit hazy dark amber color, off-white head. Malty, fruity, bread scent. Berries, bread taste. Bread aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy amber color with compact head. The aroma is full of yeast, vegetable, a bit chemical. It’s on the dry side, with a simple caramel and malt flavor, ordinary bitterness, less yeast than the aroma let me expect. Also metallic.
To be tuned.

With fuggles and goldings, and low bitterness, this beer fits that old "English" pale ale Bass ripoffy thing. I don’t think I’ve seen a micro try this in a decade, and with good reason. It’s boring. Hazy, thin head. Light caramel character, a bit thin, and no attractive character, hop or malt.

Draft - Sweet caramel and some twig. Clear gold with a rich beige head. Light caramel and light biscuit. Pretty bland, but drinkable.

On tap at Off the Rails, pours a clear copper orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral notes, English hops and some faded biscuity notes. Flavour is on the sweeter side, with floral notes, English hops and a sweet caramely finish - not cloying though. Decently balanced but pretty boring and unadventurous. Okay.
