Can 473ml @ Hotel room, Comfort Inn Downtown, Washington, DC
Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, bakers yeast, phenols and some fruitiness. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a yeasty and slightly fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

-Can. An unclear, orange-golden-brown beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is rather banana-ish and yeasty, but not in a very good way. Caramel, cloves and some grass too. Yeast, banana and cloves in the flavor, some bitterness to deal with the sweetness. Medium to full body, quite effervescent. Lasting finish. Not very good or interesting this one, and it’s almost like there’s alcohol in the finish. 150619

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle from shrubber85 poured into a weizen glass. Pours orange with light orange highlights and small fluffy white head which dissipated quickly. Aroma is banana, medium/light body, medium/low carbonation, and some small-bubble lacing. Taste is ripe banana and grainy.

Draught at the taproom
Murky orange-blond color. Round mouthfeel, wheat and yeast presence, the spices are quite strong (cloves), but there is also enough banana; correct bitterness.
Could be German.

On tap at Granville Island, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out authentic hef notes of banana and clove, along with some bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, bringing out banana upfront, followed by clove and wheat. Dry body with a crisp finish. Not the most robust hef, but decently well made. Not bad.
