A blend of premium Belgian malts, plus German and Pacific Northwest hop varieties gives this luscious, copper-hued ale a wonderful complex aroma, a rich depth of flavour, and smooth drinkability. Editor's note: For some time it was "Red Truck Ale", rebranded "Red Truck Road Trip Amber Ale" in 2018.

Cask days 2012. Served as red truck brewing red truck ale.
Grassy hops, light caramel malts, solid grains. Good mouthfeel, low carb. Lo bitterness, a good quaff. Pretty ordinary amber.

Aroma of soft malt and nothing else. Has okay white foam on top of a dark clear copper body. Flavour is mellow malts, simplicity, but drinkable. Full enough on the mouth and simply adequate. It's a decent drinker but does the trick.

Draft pour at Red Truck. A darker copper golden pour. Some metallic, bold malt on the aroma. Flavor is also leaning in the metallic side. Rich and bold malts, and a lingering gritty grain. Pretty standard Amber, nothing overwhelming about this. Decent beer as an Overall

355ml bottle. Pours a clear copper with a medium, creamy, short lived, off-white head that laces. Mild, sweet aroma of caramel malt, bread and a hint of fruit. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, biscuit, honey and light fruit with a bitter grass finish. Light body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Meh.
