This is a full flavoured beer integrated with a distinct floral hop which gives it a quality unique to our Pacific Northwest surroundings. This style is evolutionary from a typical IPA with an assertive hop, lower alcohol content, and slight pine aroma. Low in malt character, this beer has a refined quality and a refreshing temperament.

We’ve used ingredients harvested near the Pacific Ocean including Galena, Cascade and Citra hops. Substantive hop flavour paired with a bit of caramel complete the composite to end with a medium finish. Typically consumed in good company amid the Pacific and pine.

Flight pour at brewery. Pours clear pale yellow with white head. Aroma has citrus zest and pine. Flavour has lemon zest, pine; a bit sterile, like a cleaner. Hop expression is a bit weak. Not super exciting, but still pretty solid.

On tap. Pours a slightly hazy gold-yellow with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Mild aroma of biscuity pale malt, lemon, grass, floral and skunky hops. Fruity flavour of biscuity pale malt, grapefruit, lemon, apricot and pine resin in a dry, bitter grass finish. Light body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Meh.

Tap at Butcher & Bullock in Vancouver BC. Pours gold with a white head. Stone fruit aroma. Med body. Flavor is fruit/floral with a bit of malt support. Not quite dry. Moderately bitter. Malt not recognizably roasty. Nice to drink.
