500ml can. Pours a crystal clear gold with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves curtains of lace. Faint aroma of grainy pale malt, grass and skunky hops. Sweet flavour of grainy pale malt, lemon, bitter grass and spicy hops in a crisp, dry, slightly metallic finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and average to soft carbonation. Refreshing and crushable, but nothing to get excited about.

660ml Bottle from Morrisons. Pours a clear golden colour with a large light bubbly head. Aromas of grains, hay, grass and bread. Taste is more grains, grass and bread with a little added peppery spice and a touch of biscuits and floral. Malty backbone with light grassy notes on the finish. Medium body, low carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Decent beer.

Keg draught atvthe Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Light to mid-gold and ear with a tiny white head. Metallic, grainy and grassy aroma, which works with a lager. Sweet but by no means overly so with some spicy hop midway through. Long bittersweet finish with heavy carbonation. This is a decent lager, maybe not the best in the style but very enjoyable.

A bit ole 660ml bottle from Tesco dot com. It pours classique deep lager yellow with a dissipating, fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, grainy, hay, damp grass, porridge, custard creams, lemon curd, PVA glue / wallpaper paste. The taste is firmly dry, some bitterness, bitter - sweet character, grainy, grassy, hay, weak lemony citrus, biscuity malt, vague hint of glue and some spice with a dry finish. Average body and average carbonation. Drinks absolutely fine when it's cold, not so much as it warms. Average for the Germanic lager style.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, getreidiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, getreidig, leicht hopfig. Leicht süß mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, leichter Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.
