Draught at Brewers Beer Bar, Göteborg, on May 30, 2014.As I understood it this was the only keg for sale, so if it is gone by now, this was a one off beer for the official opening party of this bar.Cloudy orange color, small white head. Hoppy, lemon, sweet, lots of caramel, bitter taste. Lemon zest, alcohol aftertaste. Smooth yet a bit fizzy mouthfeel. Medium high bitterness. Hoppy, sweet scent.Not sure if it is a super strong and very sweet DIPA or a very hopped up young Barley Wine, regardless I didn’t fancy drinking much of it. Got a glass of some 20 cl of this one and it took me a good while to finish it. If it was aged a while so the intense alcohol and sweetness could mellow it woule likely suit my palate better.Sorry guys, it was fun tasting it, but won’t give any higher score than this to that one.
