Lightly toasted and used in 3 Daughters Oatmeal Stout, flaked oats give a comforting silkiness that accentuates the hint of chocolate aroma and dark coffee flavor that are provided by the roasted barley and chocolate malts.
With a dense and creamy tan head, smooth body and a slightly dry finish, this is the beer that is letting the world know that oatmeal is not just for breakfast anymore.
Style: Oatmeal Stout
Malts: Two row pale, Oats, Roasted Barley, Chocolate, Crystal
Hops: East Kent Goldings
Yeast: Top fermenting ale
