Schooner on tap @ Hart’s Pub. Very faint malt/cocoa nose. Dark brown/black with thin tan head. Full-bodied, creamy texture. Finish of dark fruit, dark chocolate and a little bitter fruit tang. Quite dry, well made, serious Porter.

On tap at Green Beacon, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and cocoa. Flavour brings out lots of toasted malt and dry cocoa powder. Robust and full-bodied. Very good.

On tap at the Brewpub, August 2014. Black with a small tan head. Nicely roasted with chocolate and coffee. The mouthfeel was creamy. The finish was bitter. A tasty one.

Draught at Green Beacon Brewing Co, Brisbane, on July 20, 2013.Listed as 5.2% ABV.Black color, brown head. Sweet, light roasted taste. Roasted aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high bitterness. Sweet, malty, roasted scent.
