Bottle 33 cl from Oak Barrel, Sydney, on July 17, 2013.Marked 4.5% ABV.Big hizz when opened, no gushing but rises a bit in the bottle. Builds up a ridicously huge head that takes time to settle. Clear dark brown color, big fluffy tan head. Sweet, malty, grainy scent. Sweet, grainy, dry taste. Harsh, dry, grainy aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, medium high dry grainy bitterness.

From a 330ml bottle on 10/6/2011. Pours almost amber with a medium head. Doesn’t have much of an aroma, just a touch of toffee malt and some spices. The flavour is more interesting and a little unusual. There’s some sweet fruit at the start, particularly raisins with some tart citrus as well. Finishes with a good dose of hop bitterness. Worth a try.
