Sampled from the tap at the Surry Hills location. Pours a clear straw yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of straw and hay with a bit of cookie underlying. Flavor has sweet grain and straw with some hay supporting.

330ml bottle into schooner glass. Faint malt nose. Pale amber beer with thin white head. A few little bubbles rise lazily. Light body, grainy taste. Finish is earthy with a herb bitterness. Just not my thing.

(On tap at Lovedale Brewery) Clear straw with big white head. Subtle bready aroma. Light body, well carbonated. Taste is light malt with citrus hints and some pleasant subtle grassy hop bitterness in finish. Pleasant.

Draught as a middy size at Macquarie Hotel, Sydney, on July 15, 2013.As "Surry Hills Pils" at 5.0%.Herbal, hoppy, dry, bread, grainy, bitter taste. Grainy, dry, herbal, bitter aftertaste. Rather fizzy high co2 mouthfeel, medium to medium high bitterness that feels dry. Also hints of a fruity aftertaste. Clear straw yellow color, tan head. Hoppy, herbal, a bit sweet scent.
