Cask, Local Taphouse, Sydney. Hazy light aber. Lightly fruity - a bit overripe. Juicy, caramel, light spice. The sparkler knocks a bit too much out of this though, leaving a shade of a beer.

Cask / handpump, at The Local Taphouse, Sydney, on July 10, 2013.Can’t remember for sure, but think I was poured a 90 ml sample of this after finishing my tasting paddle. If not I probably purchased a smaller sized glass.Clear dark brown to black color, light brown head. Fruity, herbal, hoppy, berry scent. Fruity, bitter taste. Bitter aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, medium high bitterness at first, though after a bit actually feels pretty much medium.If nothing else fun and nice to see a real handpump in use!
