This unique beer is the result of the exceptional traditional technique of dry hopping as genuine Kent hops are added after the brewing process, at low temperature, so that only the finest of the hops’ aromas and flavours are transmitted to the beer. The amber sensuality of Martin's Pale Ale, its creamy foam and its hoppy flavour make it a favourite with discerning drinkers in search of a beer of character.

From a bottle at a pub (de billenkletser) in Antwerpen. Big head, poured out in a teku glass, nice. Golden color, very good taste, with some bitterness.

Bottle - Light pale malt sweetness and orange. Clear gold with a rich white head. Tastes just like it smells and surprisingly similar to the IPA. This however is a bit more appropriate.

John Martin’s Pale Ale. On tap at Harat’s, Zagreb. Clear golden body, not much head. Light soft aroma, plum jam to plum rakija, a tart touch. Sweet soft taste, alcohol, honey, light fruitiness, bitterish end. Quite messy, with clashing flavors. Not my favorite.

Clear copper colour, frothy off-white head, stays awhile, nice lacing. Sweet aroma of caramel and apple syrup, plums, grassy hops, citrus. Taste medium sweet and bitter, with some caramel and dry, grassy hops. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, smooth dry to medium sweetbitter finish.
