Taster at the brewery. Pours a clear, light brown color, with a small, beige film. The aroma is biscuit dough, rye, pine sap, and chalk. Sweet and malty, with a sharp bitterness. Light to medium body, with a sticky, malty, and hard palate.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt yellow color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light foamy clingy lacing sticking nicely to the glass.
The smell had a nice sweet malty bill but allowed a nice under current of light spice to grace my nose.
The taste was mainly just sweet as it settled over my taste buds.
The palate had a decent sessionability with a fairly nice lightness about it. The carbonation was smooth.
Overall, good California Common that I could have again.

This lager poured a clear and flat looking with no head at all other than a soapy rim. Scents include apple juice, corn, citrus and a very light hop scent. First sip was very watery and thin on the palate with faint hop flavours and almost like a watered down apple/pineapple juice flavour. To weak to like.

Tap at the brewpub. Light gold/white head. Light citrus aroma. Lightly bready, mildly citrus. Decent.

draft at the brewpub - Pours hazy gold with a lasting white head. It smells of bready malt and some mild hops. This light to medium bodied brew has a pleasant enough balance between the pale malt and the hops. It’s light to medium bodied and a decent quaff.

12oz bottle. Thick dirty orange-tan color. Big fluffy white head. Tart lemon-citrus aroma with some toasty malt in the background. Tart and tangy stuff. This is a pretty underrated beer. Nice creamy medium-bodied mouthfeel. Pretty balanced, with some up front bitterness that leads into the fruity malt finish. Tangy stuff, lots of character.
