Our red is a special bitter, which doesn’t mean that it’s overly bitter, just a well balanced bitterness that is noticeable. This copper-colored ale uses chinook and cascade hops.

This ale poured a clear, dark red colour with a soapy head. Not very appealing to look at. Scents include pineapple, citrus hopps, slight ripe fruit and hard apple cider. First sip was watery. Very thin mouthfeel. flavours of ripe fruit, hopps and cider. Finish is hoppy with a slight bitterness on the tongue.

draft at the brewpub - Pours amber with a caramel malt aroma. It tastes of that sweet caramel malt along a good hops bite leading into a mildly bitter finish. Pretty good, definitely better than the first three brews in my sampler.
