Classic Fuller’s bitter, the more ordinary and accessible version of Fuller’s ESB, I suppose. Irregular, snow white, sticky, stable head, deep orangey amber colour. Subtle aroma of light maltiness, nuts and floral hops; taste more rich than expected from the rather weak aroma, nutty, apple, lemon peel, evolving into a herbal, flowery, full hop bitterness, long, dry and thirst-quenching. Thinner and less robust than the ESB but still very enjoyable.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance had a semi-dark red to orange color with a slight clearness rising in the beer. Streams of carbonation are seen rising into the light white one finger head. There was a decent lacing after the death of the head.
The smell had a dry caramel graininess running underneath.
The taste starts with this dried caramel graininiess and lends a light sweetness to allow a mild bitterness for balance.
On the palate, this one sat fairly light to show a decent sessionability about it. There was a mild dry bitter caramel finish.
Overall, this one was a decent bitter I think I could do again. Pass the fish n’ chips....? Sounds good.

Solid british golden bitter. Very malty, with some notes of aroma hop and honey. Very easy to drink, bit too easy.

Un bon arrière-goût de miel... Elle est douce et très sucrée. Moyenne mais bien faite.

Bottle, 4.7%. Pours clear amber with no head at all, medium carbonation. Slightly sour attack and then sweet with light hoppy aroma, citrus, malts. Light bitter finish. Very smooth and dangerously easy to drink, not as bitter as I expected.

Dark golden with copper hue, small off-white head. Caramel, dried fruits, apricots and apple peel, dry grains with a light toasted touch, nice bitter finish with fruity hops. Medium bodied. Great balanced ale with full taste but still very fresh.

Pours clear , light amber . Small white head Smell is slightly aromahoppy Taste is dry malts ,maltsweetness . Some hops shine trough . Balanced , and indeed good to drink in pints ( lucky this is low abv !!) Blind tasting with Dr. Beer, served in Black glassware. Smell is rather stale malty ( white bread, but not very fresh art all ), mild grassy notes. Taste is medium bitter. Very nice bready aroma of the malts. Mild caramel touch. Some grassy hoppy notes. Easy drinker, nice in taste. Bit dissapointing in the scent though.

On tap @ Reuben’s Brews during 7/5/2014 Seattle beer tour. Pours a burnt orange appearance with a creamy off white head. Light diacetyl, toasted bread, and caramel in the nose. Soft mouth feel. A touch fruity. Sweet toasted grain flavor. A but of butterscotch and caramel. OK.
