500ml bottle. Clear, copper colour with a thin white head. Fruity caramel aroma, taste is similar, possibly more caramel than the aroma. Very drinkable, if unremarkable

Pours a muddy brownish from the tap. Slightly bitter, but mostly just kind of a strong caramel maltiness. Okay beer.

Clear deep amber colour, small frothy off-white head, slowly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma roasted malts, caramel. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, toffee, average to long duration, smooth dry finish, light spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, all in all more than decent and very drinkable.

33cl bottle. Clear amber pour with a very thin and unimpressive white head. Smells like caramel and butterscotch. Tastes like caramel, butterscotch and some bitter hops. Super smooth and very well balanced.

Pours a beautiful orange color with short lasting white head. Lovely smell of biscuits and caramel. Medium body with soft carbonation, very pleasant on the tongue. Taste of caramel, biscuits, spices and herbs. Very interesting cake-like aftertaste. Medium and a bit dry finish with a subtle bitternes to it. Overall, lovely beer. Easy drinking and very refreshing. Recommended.

Kicsit karcos, a csapolt verzióját jobban szeretem, mer az csak úgy simogatja a nyelőcsövem.

500ml bottle, from Waitrose. As part of my phase of revisiting classic English ales. Pours clear amber, thin white head. Good biscuity malts with a hint of toffee. Simple drinkability, begs to be paired with pork scratchings.
