On tap at the brewpub it is a muddy brown with a slight head. The aroma is roast coffee and the taste has a strong mocha flavor that remains I on the palate

Approximately 4 oz sample at the brewpub in Hays, Kansas. Pour is a murky cloudy brown black, very much a nitro pour. Aroma is light roasty malt, along with pine hops. Clean and fresh nose. Taste is the nose, blending the roasty malt nicely with the pine hops. Palate is a slick nitro mouthfeel. Creamy, easy to drink. Nice one.

Sampler @ brewpub. Pours with a thick murky head that just wont go away, khaki colored. Aroma is roast and a hint of sweet prune. Taste has just the right amount of sweet prune mixed with light roast and coffee. Very easy drinking with a lightly ashy aftertaste.

Dark hazy brown color. Sweet caramel-molasses nose, with layers of freshly baked chocolate cake and coconut (german chocolate cake?). Flavor is mainly caramel-molasses, and a touch sugary/syrupy with a near cloying finish.
