Draught at Dogs Beck JDW, Penrith. Dark amber colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, bread. Taste is malty, toffee, bread, biscuit with some tangy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, biscuity bitter finish. OK

Can as Creamflow. Creamy off white head on a copper coloured body. Toffee, berry & tea aroma. Medium bodied, smooth g creamy with a cloying back. Malt, bitter, toffee, berry tastes with a lightly hopped finish. Limp.

Tap at London and North Western JDW, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber colour with an everlasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light yeast. The flavour is light bitter, with a smooth, malt, herbal, metallic, water, light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Half-pint, draught at Crosse Keys (JDW). Creamy white head blanketing the upper part of the glass, clear warm golden body. Modest smell of pale malts, mid-dry. Mid-sweet grainy malts to the taste buds. Short grainy ending, distant bitterness to it, crispy, slightly diluted. Easy going. (City, London 10.02.2023).
