Keg pint in a local bar during July 2013. Cold pour into the correct badged glass: looked fine, a deep rich amber/brown body with a creamy foaming head that stayed and gave some heavy lacing also. Mild malt aroma, but too cold at first for any aroma to be evident. The taste was a pleasant blend of malts and hops: I was surprised how refreshing it was. The finish was leaning towards a dry bitterness, but it didn’t really get there. OK for a nitro-keg.

The Co2 cans definitely make for a nice pour, but the gorgeous presentation can’t save this poor excuse for an ale. Nice brown/ amber ale with creamy lasting head. Aroma is weak, taste is metallic. Finish is non-existent. Skip this one....

440ml can. Pours dark orange with a small nitro head. Aroma is dusty caramel. Taste is watery and grainy to start. Generic shandy finish.

This beer is affectionately known as a McLeish to a Villa fan. Don’t remember that much about it. Other than it was brown in a glass a bit creamy.

On tap - looks great, but an awful metallic taste ruins yet another mainstream beer.

Draft. Clear amber pour with creamy off white head. Aroma and flavour are both metallic and not much else. Thankfully it was served very cold or I may have tasted more. Reminds me of the bad days before I discovered craft beer..

Draught. Amber colour with a creamy head. Malty nose with some fruitiness. A bit waterish and a light malty flavour.
