Keg tap at the Five Bells, Tydd St Mary. Cloudy, takes ages to settle. When it does clear, there is an insipid brown liquid before me with a creamy head. Smells of almost nothing. I think the glass has more aroma. A harsh metallic tinge and some breadfruit. Tastes ok. Some light bitterness with a touch of milky astringency. Drinkable but a last-choice option.

Keg. Pours amber, with a creamy lasting head. Aroma- faint raisin, maybe some hops, not a great deal. Taste is a bit thin rather than creamy. Hints of dark fruits and slightly metallic.

Can from Seoul Plaza, Bratislava. Amber colo with lava effect thick off-white head. Sweet malt, caramel, red fruits in aroma. Bland caramel malty taste with notes of burned sugar, fruity notes. Watery not tasty beer.

Bitter from the Coors-owned Worthington brand, once a classic among English ales. Industrial example of the style, pasteurized and tapped with a nitro tap to artificially generate the creamy character and milky head of a real cask conditioned ale. Very stable and dense, white head, brownish bronze colour. Bitterish and metallic character, caramelly and nutty malts, some honey but not sweet, thick and indeed very creamy and milky mouthfeel, soft herbal hop bitterishness in the finish. Too artificial, obviously.

Very bad mass produced cream flow beer. Very little aroma evident, and little taste, slight sweetness, and a touch of bitterness.

On tap in UK. Pours amber with nice creamy white head. Malty aroma and flavor with some bitterness. Not bad but not too interesting either.

Keg @ Rodney, Warrington. Smooth and refreshing enough bitter, not huge on taste. Golden-amber in colour with a thick head.

On tap @ Castle Inn, Faversham. Clear amber body with a small, dense off/white head. Light aroma of malt and some fruit. Quite nice, very smooth malt flavor with a hibt of caramel and fruit. Light bitterness. Medium body and moderate in aftertaste. Quite average, but smooth with high drinkability.
