Hazy light amber, little bit dull. Very aromatic, grapefruit, and other citrus. Good nose. Lots of bitterness, not much chewy malt....pretty good balance. My type of pale ale.

on tap-pours a light tan head with gold color. Aroma is orange/pine, some medium malt. Taste is sweet orange/biting resin/herbal hops, secondary medium malt-some caramel.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours with a hazed bronze body with a small tan head. Aromas are floral, citrusy and caramel. Flavors are bitter floral, citrusy and a bit earthy (mushroom earthiness minus the umami). Medium bubbles, possibly a bit too sweet for me.

Draft 5oz sample. Golden tan, creamy, patchy head. Somewhat subdued fruity hop aroma, tangerine, orange, quite nice. Somewhat toasty, maybe some slight butterscotch tones. Drinkable and decent, but the butterscotch tones end up holding it back.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours dark gold with a white head. Very hoppy - resin?- aroma. Flavor is all over hop.

Tap at the brewpub - lightly hazy gold - a decent IPA, with a lot of fresh hop flavor to it - however, there is a relatively high sweetness, reminiscent of honey, and the bitterness gets a bit astringent at times - basically, this is a flawed ale that has enough good hop flavor to make it drinkable.
