Bottle at home, from 2015, consumed 26th October 24, pours a clear straw golden. Aroma is funky, musty and herbal, light basil. Taste is tart, funky, musty, herbal, earthy, the basil plays a part, very drinkable, with good complexity

Bottle shared, bottled feb 2015, best before 2025. Orange colour, no head. Aroma is sour, funky, herbal, hint of basil. Taste is the same, tart, dry, herbal, basil. Mellowed out quite a bit from what i remember from the original 2015 bottle back then.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hopfiger, intensiv nach Basilikum riechender Geruch. Geschmacklich ebenso dominant Basilikum, leicht säuerlich, leicht hopfig.

75cl bottled April 2019 - Pours a lightly hazed golden colour with a medium sized, lasting, tight and foamy off-white head. The aroma has lots of basil, tart apple, wood, citrus peel and funk. A herbal and sour taste, lots of basil, funk, wood and tart fruit flavours with a drying tart finish. It's okay but a bit too much basil and that dominates the taste.

Bottle from Delhaize, bottled 4/2019. Hazy orange, stable, foamy, white head. Aroma of basil, thyme, rosemary perhaps, orange peel, mandarin, vinegar, oak wood, cheese, vanilla. Taste has sweet-sour mandarin, lime, orange juice freshness; quite a herbal middle with basil & thyme, some wood, low vinegar and faint funky barnyard. Tart, herbal hoppy finish, woody, some more barnyard and wet grass. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Oddity beer, I appreciate it.

(Bottle) Golden colour with big, frothy, off-white head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of citrus, lemon, grapefruit, bread and basil. Fruity, tart taste with grapefruit, lemon, citrus kernels, white bread, basil and a dry and tart finish. Medium body, dry. Fresh and tasty gueuze, with lots of herbal basil coming through. Interesting, the basil is more evident than I expected. Very nice.
