Draught at the brewpub, on January 28, 2012Hazy reddish brown color, off-white head. Roasted, malty taste. Roasted aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Sweet, roasted scent, also almond paste. Some minerals.

A dark brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, a sweet hazelnut with fruity esters and coffee notes. In mouth, a nutty beer with oily mouthfeel, light woody notes, so-so. On tap at the brewpub, Dec. 28 2011.
