Bottle. Pine hops and honey malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Initially a honey malt flavor followed by a pine hops finish. One of the sweetest IPAs I’ve ever had - really works very well.

Aroma of rotting sticky hemp colas, quite interesting. Rather light orange with a brown tinge. Bang up IPA flavors. Strong with personality. Does command attention. Has some mild creamy carbonation. Disrespects my taste buds. Long bitter lingering bunyanesque finish. Good example of the style, if you like IPA, not disappointing.

12oz Bottle. Cloudy golden color with a off white head. The flavor is a strong crisp citrus. Overall this beverage is a decent, solid IPA that can be enjoyed on a warm day.

Pyramid Thunderhead IPA, draft at Seattle Taproom, Seattle airport concourse B. Pour is orange amber with a small-medium white head. Aroma is very faint, though there is some pine citrus hops. Taste is the piney hops mostly, though a decent enough malt backbone. I little bit of unpleasant chemical tanginess in the finish. This one started much better than it finished. As this one warmed, it was like sucking on a grapefruit peel, not entirely unpleasant, but not something you want a ton of. A nice option at an airport, I guess.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy light copper color with a small white head. A lot of fizz and carbonation with this one. The aroma was floral and citrus. Nice lacing that diminshed quickly. The taste is smooth with a nice hoppy bite and bitter finish. A great IPA.

Small, but frothy, head atop a hazy body that is lightly orangish yellow. Aroma is more hoppy than malty, but somewhat light in both areas. Notes of resin and citrus and also wet grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and less bitter than one would think from 67 IBUs, probably because of the malt backbone. Medium body with a watery texture. Decent carbonation. Just OK.

Bottle: Pours a golden/orange with a big off-white head. Good lacing. The aroma is full of citrus and piney hops and a little malt. Taste is mild and sweet up front with a good amount of citrus hops in the finish. A little grassey. Crisp, but lingering hops finish.

Bottle on Amtrak Cascades train, Vancouver to Seattle. Hazy copper, thin off white head. Pleasing resiny hop aroma, grapefruit. Moderate malts, more of an APA in my opinion. Some fullness in mouth. Fine, some toffeeish malt. Hoppy sticky finish.

Thanks to Suttree for this. Fairly clear copper pour with a tall white head. Malt dominated aroma with hops as an afterthought. A bit of soap in the aroma perhaps. Good body which saves this beer but the sweetness dominates as was expected from the aroma and the hop level is fairly low. A good Amber Ale.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a clear, orangey golden with a white head. Fresh, hoppy nose with lots of citrus - grapefruit in particular. Rather full-bodied with sweet caramel malt and fat, oily accents of great aroma hops. A very classic, American IPA. 170406
