Bottle shared in London - scooped up at Kris Wines. Pours black-brown with a frothy tan head. The nose has plenty of roast, chocolate, dark fruits. Medium sweet flavor, with gooey chocolate, scorched earth, burnt pine. Medium bodied with with fine to average carbonation. Nicely resinous on the finish with ashy roast, bittersweet baking cocoa. Pretty damn solid.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours dark brown with a small tan head. The nose is rich roast, umami, liquorice, dark chocolate, salted caramel, tar and earth. The taste is smooth, toasty, roasted malt, mild acidity, charred wood, liquorice, dark fruits and light ash with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Pretty decent.

33cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks a lot! Pours very dark brown, close to black, with a beige head. Roasty and hoppy aroma in a nice mixture, pine, hints of citrus, licorice and chocolate. Moderate to medium sweet with nicely balanced flavours and a decent bitterness. Tasty, enjoyable and easy to drink!

33cl bottle. Brewed on Friday 13th. Label also tells me this has 8% ABV. Pours pretty much pitch black color, brown head, settles quick but leaves a1 cm head that lasts very long. Strong coffee aroma at first, molasses, roasted malt. Also woody notes appears. Flavor has dark chocolate, strong coffee, ash, burnt wood, loads of hops. is that chili burn in my throut? Yeah it is quite ashy, especially the finish. Feels surprisingly thin for this high ABV. There are things I like about this beer, but also things that force me to lower the points a little. Nice label though.
