Bottled (Thanks TM). Pale yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is sweet malts, mild metallic notes as well as grains and some mild butterscotch in the background. Flavour is bready malts, some metallic notes as well as grains. Mild rubbery notes as well.

50 cl bottle from the Rimi supermarket in Tallinn.On April 12, 2009BB Sep 09Clear pale yellow color, small white head. Malty buttery scent. Malty and butterscotch taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

500ml Bottle-Golden in colour with a white head. Malty, mildly alcoholic aroma with a bit of bitter lemon. Malty and moderately bitter taste with the alcohol element featuring again. Tastes stronger than it is.

Plastic bottle 1,2 ltr (BB 09/2007)
Golden color, decent white head. Strong grassy nose. Light, watery palate. Cut grass flavor, not much else. New plastic bottle model is used here and positive thing in this beer is that it lacks normal PET-bottle off-flavours. This is also much cleaner than many other previous Viru Õlu’s beers.
