Almost black colour with a small beige head. Aroma of marshmallow, sugar, caramel, candy, chocolate. Flavour is cloying marshmallow sweetness, very sugary. I’m usually a big fan of Emelisse, but I do not like Marshmallows and the sweetness of this brew is beyond my tolerance level.

Pitch black colr, good frothy brown head, dissipates slowly, thin layer remains. Aroma very sweet with vanilla, marshmellows, candy sugar, chocolate, coffee, cloves, nutmeg, licorice. Flavour sweetbitter, coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla. Full body, creamy texture, finish is bittersweet, roasty. Quite a special brew.

Draught at Proeflokaal Arendsnest. A heavy and fun brew. Milk chocholate, rye bread and ginger bread dough.

Bottle @ home shared with ansjelaah. Dark brown colour with a medium sized beige to light brown head. Smells sweet, chocolate, vanilla, creme brulee, sweet. Tastes sweet in the aftertase but slightly sour at first, marshmellow, creme brulee, vanilla, nesquik. Not bad. Medium to full body, soft carbo, silky feel.

33cl bottle. BB 12/2015. Black color, thick brown, espresso head. Sweet candy, marshmallow aroma, vanilla, roastedness. The sweetness continues in the taste, but stays more in the back fortunately. Strong herbal notes, musty, very oily, full bodied. Sweet, sticky finish. Alcohol hidden due to the sweetness I guess. Ok, prefer this over the Creme brulee version I had some while ago. To be enjoyed in small doses, sipper.

Sweet beer, with a dry edge and a taste of coffee, cacao and of course marshmallow. Bit like a crème brûlée stout. Quite nice.

Dark brown colour, some beige foam. Soft carbonation. Aroma of roasted malts and coffee with disgusting aftertaste of marshmallow. The taste starts ok but the finish is too artificial sweet. Not my cup of tea.
